墨西哥Cemex公司發(fā)展美國(guó)和泰國(guó)市場(chǎng)

Cemex SA,the world's third-largest cement maker, will look to the U.S. and Thailand for growth as the company resumes a global expansion it put on hold for three years to pay down debt.
The company would like to increase its share of the U.S. market from 15 percent and build a business in Thailand, where Cemex already has a cement unit.
Zambrano didn't specify how the company planned to expand in the two markets, though he said that the company will both pursue organic growth and look for future acquisitions.
The company forecasts its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization -- a measure of cash flow -- will rise 11 percent in the second half of 2004 to about $610 million.
We would like to have a larger presence in Thailand, and we will have it, but not in the time frame we wanted,'' he said later in the speech.
